ABOUT
Liz is a qualified professional New Zealand based makeup artist with over 12 years experience in the industry, with 6 years spent at M.A.C Cosmetics and 3 years at Sephora. She is a two time award winning Makeup Artist, receiving the prestigious 'NZ M.A.C Artist of The Year' award for both 2016 and 2018 while in the M.A.C PRO team.
Liz is experienced across a broad spectrum of makeup avenues such as special occasions, bridal, ball/prom, beauty, stage, theatrical, TV, film, commercial, editorial, runway and education (beginners to industry professional makeup artists).
From 2013 to 2018, Liz has worked backstage at numerous New Zealand Fashion Week shows, internationally at Sydney Fashion Week (2019 & 2022) and Seoul Fashion Week (2015) for the M.A.C PRO events teams and Fenty Beauty. She has directed makeup for some of New Zealand's leading fashion designers backstage at New Zealand Fashion week such as Trelise Cooper and Kathryn Wilson.
Liz has an extensive portfolio across the editorial and fashion scene, having her work and contributions featured in numerous online and print publications nationally and internationally such as Rolling Stone Australia, Remix Magazine, Fashion Quarterly, Miss FQ, Viva, Canvas, Denizen, Hypebeast, Vogue Italia, Headway Magazine, Together Journal, NZ Musician, Coup de main, Ensemble, Stuff.co.nz, Life Magazine, Sniffers, Sauce mag, Blk on Blk, DeFuze Magazine (London), Institute Magazine, Newsprint Magazine, Teeth mag, Oil Magazine, Lutefisk Magazine (LA), Feroce Magazine (UK), Kaltblut Magazine (Berlin), Solis Magazine (New York) and V.ri0t zine.
Liz's experience also expands into film and television, working on Mnet Korea's 'Street Woman Fighter 2' doing makeup for international dance crew Jam Republic, X Factor NZ, Dancing with the Stars and film 'The Breaker Upperers'.
Her biggest career highlights to date include working with Parris Goebel and Ciara as Makeup Director for the 'Level Up' music video, Chaii's Spotify Equal campaign which was featured in Times Square (New York) for Spotify Equal and being selected as the New Zealand representative for the Fenty Beauty team backstage at Sydney Fashion week 2022.
